Jenny Elefantz' GiveAway!

You might like to hop on over to Jenny's blog and enter to win her giveaway - an adorable project(s) book!  All you have to do is "comment" on her post about the giveaway.   This pic is the book being given away:

I love, love, love her site. Plus she's part of the group known as the "Gum Tree Designers" - all very talented and generous women.  They share a lot of tips and offer free projects throughout the year.  There are a lot of very nice and easy hand embroidery designs to drool over, or even use for one's own projects.

God bless you for the Nicholas Project. My first grandson died at 9 weeks of age and nothing like this was available...no counselling either. That was 11 years ago. We wrapped little Zachary in a large cross-stitch I had made for him as a birth sampler...I had not learnt to sew at that time.

Oh Jenny, I'm so sorry you had this nearly unbearable sadness happen. How heartwarming to hear that you were able to use your handmade project to wrap him in your mother-love. I know that when you wove hopes and dreams for him into every stitch, you pictured it on the wall of his nursery, not wrapping his sweet little body. We feel so helpless when something like that happens, and I've learned that women with a foundation of faith are better equipped for such tragedies. May God bless you, as you grace others with your talents!
